ULTRA XL CASTING

In keeping with the AiRRUS tradition of innovation, performance and quality, we are pleased to introduce the all new ULTRA XL. Designed around customer and Staff feed back, ULTRA is loaded with features and benefits typically found on custom rods at much higher prices. A newly tooled split reel seat and the absence of a fore grip on our casting models affords maximum exposure of the rod blank for the ultimate in rod sensitivity. With the exception of the pistol model each ULTRA comes with an additional butt section, which is three inches longer and is instantly interchangeable for two handed casting or improved leverage. Each removable butt section features a small nylon cap that can be removed weight might be necessary to bring your ULTRA into perfect balance.

ULTRA also introduces "THERMALON", a re- engineered Hypalon with improved insulation for cold conditions, that still provides the comfortable yet sensitive grip you have come to expect in an AiRRUS rod. All rods have Fuji fold down hookeepers, Alconite guides at "Concept" spacing and rubberized cork butt caps for limited hang ups on clothing. i own two of the 7' 6" XH models and like them. they have an excellent amount of backbone for pulling fish out of heavy cover. The airrus name
on these rods make them all the more better. These rods are sensitive enough to feel the fish breathe on them yet can handle an 8-12 punder like a
champ. Im convinced!

i own the 7' MH the 7' 6" H and the 7' 6" XH. the 7 footer feels excellent in your hands and is limber enough to throw topwater on (which
is what i use it for) such as a Zell Pop or a Zara Spook. this rod has all of the most important features needed in a good rod. I use the 7.5
footers for jigs and big worms. they both serve the purpose very well. ive caught several fish in the 5+ range on each of them and like the results
ive had. they are sensitive enough to feel a football jig in 30ft of water and strong enough to pull big fish out of heavy brush and timber.

I have a 6'8" Med Hvy. that I use for a spinnerbait and a rattle trap, this rod is one of the lightest rods that I have ever held onto. But when
I use it while fishing a rattle trap I can feel everything that my bait does. The tip on it is perfect and I can almost cast all my line off my
Ardent reel that is on this rod.

I have the 7'0" Med Fast {2} I use these for heavy jig fishing and Buzz Bait fishing I have landed a 55 lb catfish and a36 lb grass carp as well
as a 42" Musky withthese rods and I was impressed by the way the rods acted under the stress these fish produced. I sometimes use these rods for
Heavy worm fishing[3/4thoz] weights. The way the rod feels in my hands while fishing is very light and I can use it all day
